“data” means information that is being processed by means of equipment operating automatically in response to instructions given for that purpose; is recorded with the intention that it should be processed by means of such equipment; is recorded as part of a relevant filing system or with the intention that it should form part of a relevant filing system.

2. protects the privacy of individuals in relation to their personal data; and
3. provides for matters related to (a) and (b).

- Information to be provided where personal data is collected from the data subject
- Information to be provided where personal data has not been obtained from the data subject
- Transparent information, communication and modalities for the exercise of the rights of the data subject
