This policy is based on the premise of e-inclusion. That is universal access of ITC to all Jamaicans. The government's vision is to ensure that all persons have access to computers and broadband. In the public sector the government intends on continuing to loan computers to public sector employees and in the private sector it intends on collaborating with microfinance institutions for the availability of low interest rates to allow persons to take loans to purchase electronics more specifically computers. This therefore to allow persons to be capable to communicate and do business internationally.
